Details & Instructions
Scholarship Applications for Spring 2025
SpringRise Foundation grants scholarships to eligible higher education students of Turkish descent who face socio-economic disadvantages. The specific criteria may vary from year to year, depending on fund availability, the scholarship's objectives, and other relevant factors. We consistently strive to clearly communicate the eligibility criteria and ensure that the application process is accessible to all qualified candidates.
The scholarships are determined by the Board of Directors, and the specific scholarship amount awarded to each student varies based on the socioeconomic challenges faced by the applicant, the applicant’s financial needs, academic performance, good character references, community engagement, and the institution’s tuition costs. Despite the challenges they face, applicants must have demonstrated determination and resilience in their academic journey, as evidenced by their satisfactory academic performance.
Grant recipients are expected to make continuous progress toward completing their degree within a reasonable timeframe. Failure to make sufficient progress may result in the loss of grant eligibility.
To encourage academic success and responsible use of scholarship funds, students who receive a failing grade in any course will not be eligible for tuition scholarships to retake the same course in subsequent semesters. Students are advised to commit to their studies to maintain funding eligibility.
Please be aware that the scholarship awards are disbursed directly to educational institutions as tuition payments rather than to individual applicants.

Be present in the U.S. during their educational period.
